Job summary

Linde plc is seeking an experienced Operations Technician to ensure the safe, reliable operation of an atmospheric gas production plant. You will troubleshoot field-site issues, perform calibrations on compressors and gas analyzers, and maintain safety, quality, and compliance across the site.

You will work with contractors, support audits, and manage time to complete daily operations and maintenance tasks, including extended hours when needed, while staying compliant with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with an associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• Two to five years of operations experience in air separation or similar process control environments.
• Experience with instrumentation, control, and maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Strong safety awareness and procedural adherence.

• Youwill ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of an Atmospheric gas producingplant ensuring safe and efficient plant operation
• Solve field site issues while maintaining andoperating an air separation plant with minimal supervision solving field siteissues
• Additionally, you will maintain safety, quality, and compliance activities at designated plant location to uphold Linde’s high standards maintaining safety andcompliance
• Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors,gas analyzers, and control systems performing equipment maintenance
• Manage time effectively to safely complete operations andmaintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and diagnosing plant problems throughout the site
• Assist contractors and utilize resources to support plant activities, assist audits, along with administrative requirements while driving efficiency throughstrategic planning, contractor permitting for safe on-site work activities on a day-to-day basis

• You hold a high school diploma with an associate degree in a technical fieldpreferred, along with two to five years of operations experience in airseparation or similar process control environments bringing relevanteducation and experience
• You have expertise in instrumentation, control, and generalmaintenance of industrial equipment demonstrating instrumentation and controlexpertise
• In addition you should show proficiency in mechanical and electricalmaintenance, including compressors, with military engineering experiencehighly regarded applying mechanical and electrical proficiency
• Exhibit strong safety awareness and procedural adherence whiletroubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipmentdemonstrating strong safety awareness
• Understand process control schematics and communicate technicalinformation clearly in both verbal and written form understanding processcontrol schematics
• You are proficient with computers, Microsoft applications, and processcontrol systems, supported by strong organizational and time managementskills applying digital and organizational skills
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the role, includingconfined space entry, climbing, lifting up to fifty pounds, and working atheights
• Available to work extended hours when business needs arise
• Demonstrate the flexibility to support weekend, holiday,and call‑in coverage when needed
• Ensure a reliable and safety‑focused presence during criticaloperational periods
• Lastly be familiar with procurement processes and quality control analyzers,thriving in dynamic working conditions that include driving service trucks,office work, and physical activity bringing procurement and quality controlknowledge
