Linde Inc. in New York, NY seeks a Field Service Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of oxygen producing plants at customer sites.

You will troubleshoot field site issues, maintain air separation plants, and work with minimal supervision. You will interact with customers, perform routine maintenance on compressors, gas analyzers, and control systems, and coordinate contractors for plant activities while driving efficiency through planning and project management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 2–5 years operations experience in air separation or similar process control environments.
• Experience with instrumentation, controls, and industrial equipment maintenance.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to read process control schematics and communicate clearly.
• Proficiency with computers and MS applications.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and on-call.

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will ensure the
  safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Oxygen producing plants at
  customer sites ensuring safe and efficient plant operation
• Solve field site issues
  while maintaining and operating air separation plants with minimal
  supervision solving field site issues

• Additionally maintain
  safety, quality, and compliance activities at each plant location to

  control systems performing equipment maintenance
• Manage time effectively
  to complete operations and maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting
  and diagnosing plant problems managing operations and troubleshooting
• Also, coordinate
  contractors and resources to support plant activities, audits, and
  administrative requirements while driving efficiency through strategic
  planning and project management coordinating contractors and resources

What makes you great

• You will hold a high
  school diploma, with an associate degree in a technical field preferred,
  along with two to five years of operations experience in air separation or
  similar process control environments
• Have expertise in
  instrumentation, controls, and general maintenance of industrial equipment
• Demonstrate proficiency
  in mechanical and electrical maintenance, including compressors, with
  military engineering experience highly regarded
• Maintain strong safety
  awareness and adherence to procedures when troubleshooting, diagnosing,
  maintaining, and repairing equipment
• Moreover, understand
  process control schematics and communicate technical information clearly,
  both verbally and in writing
• Be proficient with
  computers, Microsoft applications, and process control systems, with
  strong organizational and time management skills
• Meet the physical
  requirements of the role, including confined space entry, climbing,
  lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heights.
• You are available to
  work extended hours when business needs arise
• Demonstrate flexibility
  to support weekend, holiday, and call-in coverage
• Maintain a reliable and safety-focused presence during critical
  operational periods
• Be familiar with
  procurement processes and quality control analyzers, while thriving in
  dynamic working conditions that include driving service trucks, office
  work, and physical activity

Pay commensurate with experience. Open to salary range $53,625 - $78,650
