Ideal candidates have 8+ years in plant management, strong communication and analytical skills, and experience with ERP/NetSuite. Travel to client sites is weekly (80-100%), and the position is contract.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and supervisory skills.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable operational improvements.
• Experience coaching frontline teams and leading change in industrial environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
• Consulting experience is an asset but not required—practical operational leadership is equally valued.
• Security clearance required.
• Travel: 80-100%, weekly travel to on-site client location.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations with focus on Quality, On-Time Delivery, and production efficiency.
• Implement and enforce standardized work across departments.
• Drive ERP / NetSuite execution and shop-floor reporting.
• Assess current plant layout, material flow, and organization; implement improvements for safety and efficiency.
• Build operational discipline with KPIs, daily management routines, and accountability.
• Identify performance gaps and lead turnaround-style initiatives to stabilize operations.
• Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to meet customer requirements.
• Develop and mentor supervisors and frontline teams to strengthen leadership and promote continuous improvement.
• Oversee capacity planning, labor allocation, and resource utilization to meet production targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
