Job summary

Dunbarton is seeking a Plant Manager to serve as the executive leader of the manufacturing facility in Dothan, AL. This role is responsible for safe, efficient, and profitable operation, delivering exceptional quality, customer service, and financial results.

You will drive strategic and operational leadership across production, maintenance, engineering, quality, and safety. A hands-on leader, you will develop people, apply Lean and Six Sigma, and partner with executives to execute growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Ten or more years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
• Experience with fabrication, machining, welding, finishing, and distribution operations.
• Proven track record leading multi-functional manufacturing operations with improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and financial performance.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles.
• Experience leading capital projects and managing operating budgets.
• Ability to drive organizational change and deploy new technology and automation.
• Demonstrated capability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, manufacturing software, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations with safe, efficient, and cost-effective production.
• Provide leadership across production, maintenance, engineering, quality, materials management, and environmental health and safety.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for safety, quality, productivity, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
• Optimize plant capacity, workflow, staffing, and resource utilization to meet demand.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Champion safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental standards.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma and other continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop and manage the plant's operating and capital budgets; monitor financial performance.
• Collaborate with executives on capital planning and strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.
