Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience in a technical manufacturing facility, preferably within the forest products industry.
• 3+ years' experience managing professional, technical, and/or supervisory employees.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous safety, quality and environmental improvements.
• Develop and implement plant goals and operating plans.
• Manage and develop staff and employees, including hiring and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with safety/environmental regulations.

Skills

6+ years' experience in technical manufacturing

3+ years' experience managing employees

Strong technical knowledge

Knowledge of manufacturing processes

Strong leadership skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Production or related field
