Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee daily plant operations, lead production, maintenance, quality, and safety to meet customer requirements and cost targets. This role requires strong leadership, budget management, Lean manufacturing experience, and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.

You will drive continuous improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or plant operations with supervisory responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, safety, and maintenance.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing activities to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Lead supervisors and employees, drive performance and adherence to policies.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor production, labor usage, equipment performance, and waste reduction.
• Coordinate with maintenance and equipment improvements to minimize downtime.
• Track KPIs and report to senior management; collaborate cross-functionally.
