Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading manufacturing teams and operations.
• Strong business acumen, including experience with P&L responsibility, KPIs, and business performance metrics.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and initiatives.
• Proven ability to build teams, establish expectations, and drive accountability.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of an organization.
• Working knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work with and interpret operational and mathematical data.

Responsibilities

• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure safety programs are consistently implemented.
• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, production, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Establish clear performance expectations and accountability for leaders and employees.
• Review production schedules, customer requirements, product specifications, and capacity needs to plan plant operations.
• Establish production priorities and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet requirements.
• Monitor KPIs, operating reports, scrap, productivity, and other metrics to identify opportunities and resolve issues.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, supply chain, HR, and other functions to address operational challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, cost, and plant performance.
• Build and develop a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
• Participate in hiring, employee relations, corrective action, and other people-related decisions.
• Address employee concerns and elevate matters when needed.
• Communicate plant and company goals effectively and create alignment.
• Exercise sound judgment and timely decisions to resolve operational challenges.
