Job summary

Contech in Pelham, AL is seeking a Plant Leader to coordinate production and shipping operations. You will drive daily schedules, lead the workforce, and collaborate with management to resolve issues while upholding quality and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational and math skills, and the ability to work outdoors at a manufacturing site. Forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years experience with equipment in manufacturing environment.
• 1 year of experience as a lead or supervisor.
• Strong organizational and math skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Preferred: Forklift Certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate daily production and shipping schedules to ensure smooth operations.
• Organize and manage the workforce to maintain optimal productivity.
• Collaborate with plant management and quality control to resolve production issues and maintain quality standards.
• Oversee loading activities, inspect loads for accuracy, and ensure shipment integrity.
• Periodically check accessory inventories and provide recommendations to management.
• Train laborers in various plant operations and safety protocols.
