Job summary

Greenthumbindustries in Rock Island, Illinois is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our production team on the plant floor. You will direct daily processes, safety, quality and productivity while shaping the long term capabilities of the facility.

The role requires hands-on leadership, budgeting collaboration with the General Manager, and a focus on inventory integrity, compliance with medical cannabis regulations, and building a resilient, high performing culture across 30+ staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business required.
• 5+ years of management experience in manufacturing with 30+ direct reports.
• Lean and Six Sigma experience is preferred.
• Solid understanding of marijuana laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic planning and vision for facility operations including processing, packaging, maintenance, quality and logistics.
• Collaborate with department managers to ensure objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Analyze facility data to recommend quality and efficiency improvements and capital expenditures.
• Develop reports to illustrate business trends and performance.
