Job summary

Mint Cannabis is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations at the Illinois production facility, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will lead cross-functional teams across cultivation, manufacturing, and facility operations while driving yield and cost efficiency, with a focus on GMP and OSHA standards and METRC/Dutchie experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a facilities manager or similar leadership role in manufacturing, food production, or cannabis environments.
• Strong understanding of facility systems, operations, and industrial equipment maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and meet performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor production teams to achieve operational goals.
• Train and supervise technicians and staff to ensure adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Assign daily tasks, oversee work quality, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Partner with HR and department leaders on staffing, scheduling, and professional development initiatives.
• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to quality, compliance, and efficiency standards.
• Manage facility systems, including equipment maintenance, repairs, and environmental controls.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance logs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance, materials, and outsourced services.
• Establish and meet production KPIs, including throughput, quality control, and yield improvement.
• Implement Just-In-Time inventory practices and manage materials, packaging, and finished goods.
