Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking a Plant Manager in Lowell, MA to own day-to-day operations, leading production teams, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a large manufacturing environment.

With a strong workforce behind you, you will shape performance, mentor leaders, and influence how the facility operates while partnering with supervisors and internal teams to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of plant, production, or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Background in heavy manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial production.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Engineering, industrial, or related technical qualification preferred.
• Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on leadership style with strong problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day plant operations across production teams
• Support and develop supervisors across multiple shifts
• Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence
• Monitor productivity, quality, labour, materials, and equipment performance
• Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Work closely with internal teams to keep production aligned with business needs
• Mentor and develop employees to support long-term growth and succession planning
