Job summary

Vector Talent Solutions seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of a Colorado manufacturing plant, drive production excellence, and partner with corporate leadership to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will lead plant teams, optimize scheduling and materials flow, enforce OSHA compliance, and spearhead Lean/Kaizen initiatives while maintaining accurate records and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in operations or manufacturing management.
• Proven LEAN/Kaizen experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
• ERP and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Leadership experience overseeing 50+ employees.
• Familiarity with SAP manufacturing software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant personnel and develop teams.
• Analyze work orders and estimate labor.
• Schedule production to fit capacity.
• Manage stock and supplies.
• Plan material flow and layouts.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet targets.
• Inspect products to ensure quality and lead corrective actions.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance.
• Lead lean and Kaizen initiatives.
• Record time, attendance, training, and production.
• Develop capital equipment proposals.
• Resolve production issues with staff.
