Job summary

Eco Materials in Franklin, TX is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the production department, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-focused manufacturing and on-time shipping of budgeted volumes. You will align plant operations with the company vision, partner with maintenance, quarry, quality, and process teams, and coordinate with marketing to understand demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a functional role.
• Willingness to travel 10%.
• Ability to lead and manage production teams.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Manage all areas of production including SOPs, training, and operations systems.
• Direct shift production teams on safety, quality, schedule adherence, labor efficiency, waste, maintenance, and cost.
• Optimize processes to improve plant efficiency; develop KPIs and metrics linked to performance.
• Collaborate with QC to ensure product quality meets expectations.
• Lead and develop department staff; set objectives and conduct performance reviews.
• Assist plant manager with future planning and improvement initiatives.
• Foster a technically advanced, safety-conscious team and a 5S culture.
• Prepare annual department budgets and monthly forecasts; monitor assets and environment compliance.
• Meet or exceed production volumes and control costs; ensure preventive maintenance.
• Assist in hiring new production staff; promote continuous improvement.
