Job summary

Kohler in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to direct all manufacturing activities on-site. You will drive safety, quality, and cost metrics while leading continuous improvement initiatives across the plant and partnering with engineering and R&D for process enhancements.

The role requires extensive manufacturing leadership, a strong technical foundation, and a proven track record in lean and Kaizen methodologies to achieve plant goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of twenty years of manufacturing management experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong technical knowledge and proven leadership skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in continuous improvement tools and lean manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of operating strategies for Huntsville toward a world-class operation.
• Direct manufacturing operations to ensure safety and adherence to rules and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement to optimize labor utilization and cost efficiency.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and participate in audits of finished units.
• Provide leadership and training to staff to achieve plant goals and budget targets.
