Triangle Suspension Systems, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager to support the Plant Manager in daily manufacturing operations, drive production efficiency, and assure quality while upholding safety standards.

This role emphasizes staff supervision, Lean projects, and coordination with the Plant Manager to set short and long-term site goals, while directing the overall production plan and maintaining ISO compliance.

Qualifications

• Oversee daily plant operations and ensure safety standards.
• Maintain ISO compliance and quality control across processes.
• Lead Lean Improvement projects and coordinate with Lean teams.
• Collaborate with Plant Manager on strategic site goals.
• Direct production planning and optimize scheduling.
• Respond to personnel issues and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Manages direct reports and operation of all departments and guides Team Leaders in the performance of their duties.
• Maintains a personal presence in the facility regularly to respond to personnel problems and verify the effectiveness of operational strategies.
• Leads Lean Improvement projects and acts as the liaison between Lean Improvement personnel and their respective groups.
• Collaborates with Plant Manager and sets strategic goals and visions for the site as well as short and long term goals.
• Directs and manages the overall production plan for the operation, including supervising the day to day operations that come with implementation.
• Promotes continuous improvement of the process.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all operations processes so that finished goods meet customer specifications and ensure maintenance of ISO compliance and standards.
• Work with Production Supervisor to improve process scheduling.
• Knowledge of the workings of an ERP system.
