Job summary

Triangle Suspension Systems, Inc. in Sandy, PA is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager to oversee daily operations, improve production efficiency, and ensure quality while maintaining safety standards.

You will supervise staff, promote a positive, productive work environment, and lead Lean Improvement projects, coordinating with the Plant Manager on short- and long-term site goals, scheduling, and ISO compliance.

Qualifications

• Leads Lean Improvement projects across the site and coordinates teams.
• Supports Plant Manager in daily operations, safety, and quality control.
• Experience with ERP systems and production planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages direct reports and operation of all departments and guides Team Leaders in the performance of their duties.
• Maintains a personal presence in the facility regularly to respond to personnel problems and verify the effectiveness of operational strategies.
• Leads Lean Improvement projects and acts as the liaison between Lean Improvement personnel and their respective groups.
• Collaborates with Plant Manager and sets strategic goals and visions for the site as well as short and long term goals.
• Directs and manages the overall production plan for the operation, including supervising the day to day operations that come with implementation.
• Promotes continuous improvement of the process
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all operations processes so that finished goods meet customer specifications and ensure maintenance of ISO compliance and standards.
• Work with Production Supervisor to improve process scheduling
• Knowledge of the workings of an ERP system
