Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks a Plant Manager for an Southeast Ohio/West Virginia facility to drive safety, quality, and operational excellence. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, manage budgets, and deliver measurable improvements in production and delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and experience in manufacturing environments with lean and continuous improvement practices. On-site leadership with cross-location collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; significant leadership experience may substitute.
• Experience as Plant Manager in manufacturing, machining, forging, or metals is beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• ISO 9001 experience is beneficial.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and production management systems preferred.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills; ability to analyze operational data.
• Proven leadership, accountability across multiple departments, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant performance including safety, quality, production, delivery, and cost.
• Develop people, establish accountability, translate performance into results.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Safety, Finance, Sales, HR, Supply Chain and other locations.
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Build and develop high-performing teams and leaders.
• Manage budgets, KPIs, and plant financial performance.
