Job summary

UW Interco, LLC is seeking a senior operations leader to oversee Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Scheduling and Quality teams. The role requires driving Lean and Six Sigma initiatives while optimizing resources across a three-shift environment.

The position emphasizes coaching and developing leaders, ensuring safety, efficiency, and meeting customer expectations in a high-performance manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Management or related field.
• Minimum 7 years manufacturing experience, with 5+ years in a leadership position.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop others in a team environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel (<10%).

Responsibilities

• Lead Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Scheduling, and Quality teams to meet customer expectations.
• Coordinate functions to meet goals in a 24/5 environment.
• Implement and maintain production systems for safe, consistent, and efficient operations.
• Partner with Sales, Materials, Shipping and Receiving, R&D for process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma/Lean methodologies.
• Develop and maintain schedules to optimize resource utilization.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate staff; conduct performance reviews.
