Job summary

PYP's Plant Manager in Training program develops future operational leaders through hands-on experience in salvage yard operations. You will work with Plant Managers to learn production, sales, inventory, safety, customer service and admin functions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The structured program covers people leadership, financial objectives, and safe, efficient operations, with travel to other markets and potential relocation as part of training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred: 5+ years in automotive industry.
• Proficiency with basic math and data interpretation.
• Experience with Office software for creating and managing documents and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Train to oversee production, sales, administration and distribution.
• Train to manage human resources by hiring, terminating, and reassigning personnel.
• Train to review financials against budget and take action.
• Train to interact with customers to determine service needs.
• Initiate and support continual improvement of the Pick Your Part quality improvement system.
• Attend plant managers' meetings.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
