Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Plant Manager for a large-scale food and beverage manufacturing facility in the Richmond, Virginia area. The executive role oversees all plant operations, driving safety, quality, reliability, and continuous improvement to achieve world-class standards.

Responsibilities include strategic leadership across operations, cross-functional team guidance, budget and asset management, and ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
• Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Dairy experience strongly preferred; fluid dairy manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across plant operations, workforce development, and business performance.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve safety, quality, reliability, and operational goals.
• Manage plant budgets, assets, and resources while driving productivity and cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, and workplace safety standards.
• Drive employee engagement, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives.
• Partner with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
