Job summary

EMIT Technologies is seeking a Plant Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, translating strategic direction into on-floor execution. You will mentor Production Managers and the Assistant Plant Manager, ensuring safe, high-quality, cost-conscious output while maintaining customer commitments.

You will drive daily performance, reinforce accountability, and champion Lean practices to scale operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
5+ years of progressive manufacturing or production leadership experience.
3+ years of direct leadership of managers or supervisors.
Experience managing daily production execution, labor resources, and priorities.
Experience in ERP/MRP environments; Dynamics 365 F&O preferred.
Working knowledge of OSHA safety practices.

Responsibilities

Lead daily production to meet safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, and cost targets.
Translate strategy into clear daily/weekly expectations for teams.
Align staffing and shift expectations with production goals.
Monitor performance and resolve bottlenecks and resource conflicts.
Escalate risks with recovery plans to senior leadership.
Maintain a strong presence on the production floor.
