Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee manufacturing processes, coordinate production supervisors and ensure KPIs—Safety, Quality, and Productivity—are met or exceeded. You will optimize equipment and resources to deliver products that meet customer expectations while aligning with company objectives.

The role focuses on safety, equipment, production and quality, continuous improvement, and development of the plant team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Engineering or manufacturing discipline.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and successful cost savings initiatives.
• Trained or knowledge of SQF prerequisites including GMP, Food Defense, etc.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing setting and in folding carton industry preferred.
• Experience working with high volume printing and converting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Establish manufacturing quality standards, methods, facilities, policies and procedures by studying product requirements; budgeting and engineering input.
• Organize plant production by assigning responsibilities and developing staff.
• Coordinate requirements with sales, quality, and customer service to facilitate production.
• Execute production plan by setting priorities, schedules and resolving issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives to meet KPIs (Safety, Quality, Productivity).
• Lead safety initiatives and deployment of HSE policies and practices.
