Job summary

WARREN OIL COMPANY, INC. is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day production, packaging, and blending activities in a fast-paced facility.

You will lead a diverse team including supervision, laboratory, production, blending, and maintenance personnel. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and experience in supply chain management, with a focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in chemistry, logistics or a concentration in lean manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, production management, business management, chemistry or other related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day to day operations of compounding, filling, blending and packaging activities in a fast paced environment.
• Responsible for overall management for up to 300 personnel including supervisory, laboratory, production, blending and maintenance team members.
• Monitor and manage all supply chain activity of inbound and outbound materials used in production activities using technologies such as JDE, SAP, or similar programs.
• Manage raw materials inventory ordering, tracking, and production work order process for all materials used in production and forecasting/scheduling in facilities.
• Account for all finished product inventories and warehousing operations.
• Oversee rail trucking and barge transportation activities and work with third party transporters.
• Coordinate and manage maintenance activity for production, storage, and operating equipment.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain maintenance and security of all buildings.
• Manage facility production equipment, establish CapEx needs, manage operating profit and loss.
• Maintain commitment to quality env health and safety programs and regulatory compliance.
• Develop systems to track and optimize productivity and performance targets to ensure ROI.
• Implement plant strategies aligned with corporate initiatives and provide clear direction.
• Ensure accounting, budgeting, and administrative activities are performed by plant personnel.

Education
