Job summary

Wheeling Linen Service, Inc. in Wheeling, WV is seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee processing, shipping, distribution, maintenance, and all related record keeping. This role reports to the General Manager and is essential to safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will lead multi-functional teams, manage budgets and P&L, mentor staff, ensure training guidelines are followed, and drive improvements to meet production goals while protecting assets.

Qualifications

• HS Grad or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in management of plant and staff.

Responsibilities

• Management of Plant & Staff Positions
• Scheduling, training and mentoring of all associates
• Coordinate and insure all corporate training guidelines are being met for all associates
• Manage multi-functional areas including; Production, Engineering, Office Administration, and Delivery Drivers
• A thorough understanding of production
• Willing to work second shift and rotating weekends
• Microsoft Office applications Word / Excel / Outlook
• General understanding of the internet's emerging role in vendor communication
• Background in maintenance, preventative maintenance
