Job summary

Colonial Group in Pine Bluff, AR seeks an experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee the daily production plant activities, ensuring safe, timely and cost-effective processing with high quality and compliance standards.

You will lead a team responsible for wastewater, facility maintenance, sorting, finishing, bundling and distribution, while coordinating with Market Center leadership to meet output goals and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Industrial and/or Mechanical Engineering/Technology, business or related discipline or equivalent business/work experience.
• 4-6 years' experience in a corporate production environment with management experience included.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma or related process improvement methodologies is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day production plant operation activities at market center.
• Ensure processing takes place in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner.
• Oversee wastewater/environmental compliance, facility and equipment maintenance, receiving, sorting, washing, finishing, bundling and distribution.
