Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee daily plant operations, lead production, maintenance, quality, and plant personnel, and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production to meet customer requirements.

The role emphasizes Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement, with accountability for budgets, schedules, and KPI performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, excellent communication, and hands-on experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or plant operations experience with leadership.
• Knowledge of production planning, quality systems, safety, and maintenance.
• Ability to lead teams, manage budgets, solve operational problems.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and metrics.
• Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Lead supervisors and employees, manage performance and attendance.
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor production output, efficiency, downtime, and scrap; drive improvements.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Manage plant budgets and cost control.
• Identify and implement Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and supply chain to meet customer needs.
