Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee all daily plant operations in Linden, Michigan. The role leads production, maintenance, quality, and plant personnel to meet customer requirements, safety standards, and continuous improvement goals.

Responsibilities include driving production efficiency, ensuring quality, managing costs, and coordinating cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Lead, develop, and hold supervisors and employees accountable for performance.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor production output, labor utilization, equipment performance, downtime, and waste.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and equipment improvements to minimize downtime.
• Manage plant operating expenses, labor costs, materials usage, and resources.
• Identify and implement process improvements using Lean, 5S, root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and supply chain to maintain inventory levels.
• Track KPIs and communicate results to senior management.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, engineering, quality, and logistics to resolve issues.
