Job summary

NWF is seeking an experienced Plant Operations leader to partner with the Plant Manager in driving efficient production and compliance. You will direct departments to meet workload and schedules while ensuring product quality and a safe environment.

The role requires coordinating with HR and senior management to staff effectively, manage budgets, and communicate with the sales force to satisfy customers. Strong audit and data skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in a Scientific Field Preferred or equivalent Education, Experience and Training.
• 6-8 years of Plant Operations Experience with multi-functional responsibility.
• Knowledge of plant management jargon and working with auditors.
• Familiarity with inventories and data systems.
• People skills to manage complex departments and ensure timely work.
• Computer-literate with Microsoft Office and AS400 systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Manager in achieving manufacturing goals and maintaining safety and cleanliness.
• Direct operations to meet customer orders and production schedules.
• Communicate with senior management and sales on budget and customer satisfaction.
• Staff departments with HR cooperation and adjust organizational structure as needed.
• Oversee expenses, labor, equipment, and facilities usage.
• Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Plan and direct plant activities to optimize efficiency and overall well-being.
