Job summary

Vylor Inc. seeks a Plant Operations Intern to be embedded at our Woodhull production facility, supporting seed production processes and improvement projects.

The role targets current students who want hands-on exposure to agricultural operations, leadership development, and potential full-time opportunities through our Seed Operations Development Program. You will work with site leadership and technical teams to learn operations, participate in safety initiatives, and manage a summer project

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Agriculture or related field.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in seed production, operations, and agricultural business.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of seed production processes.
• Support labor planning, equipment utilization, and maintenance initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and productivity projects.
• Assist with safety and environmental compliance initiatives.
• Participate in site walks, audits, and team meetings to learn operational best practices.
• Gain hands-on experience in field, plant, and warehouse conditions.
• Take ownership of a summer project with measurable impact on plant operations.
