Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four‑year degree program in agronomy, agricultural business, agricultural studies, agricultural systems technology, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate across functions.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving, decision‑making, and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency with computer applications and the ability to work with data.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced agricultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting seed production operations and field management activities
• Assisting with crop scouting and integrated pest management (IPM) activities
• Conducting field trials, research studies, and data collection
• Evaluating economic injury thresholds and supporting agronomic recommendations
• Identifying weeds, insects, pests, and crop diseases
• Monitoring crop development and communicating field observations and progress
• Collaborating with agronomy, production, and other cross‑functional teams
