Job summary

The Bunge Engineering Internship Program is seeking collaborative, results-oriented engineering students for a twelve-week winter term. Location will be determined by business needs, with potential assignments at Bellevue, OH or Decatur, IN, and relocation required for the duration.

You will rotate through EHS, material handling, crush, refine, packaging, lab, warehouse and process engineering functions, learning operations and developing problem-solving and communication skills while traveling

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a four year accredited college or university, Chemical, Mechanical, Agricultural Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls required.
• Must be collaborative, results oriented and possess strong critical thinking skills
• Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical problem solving skills
• Proficiency in standard PC applications
• Standard internships hours 8 AM – 5 PM subject to modification as required by assignment and/or location
• Ability to travel

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day operations under 70/20/10 program.
• Develop a thorough understanding of plant operations.
• Respond to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors and mentors.
• Travel to other Bunge locations for training.
• Assist staff in evaluating changing operational conditions.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
