Job summary

Spring Gardens Orem is seeking a dedicated Plant Operations Director to oversee maintenance of the community’s physical plant and resident spaces in Orem, UT. The role requires hands-on supervision, coordinating work orders with staff, and keeping residents safe and comfortable.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in building maintenance or multifamily housing, strong customer service, and a commitment to high safety standards. Evening/weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Prefer 3 years of experience in building industry, maintenance, and/or housekeeping.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of the physical plant, exterior, and interior common areas, and resident units at the community.
• HANDs ON role; completes work orders with the team.
• Assist with apartment turnovers—painting, carpet cleaning, pressure washing.
• Maintain grounds and landscaping around the community.
• Ensure a safe, secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperation across departments.
