Job summary

Sysco is seeking a strong leader for the Buckhead Meat Midwest Illinois Division processing facility. You will oversee cut, prep, packaging, and warehouse departments, ensuring safety, quality and yield while guiding staffing and equipment needs.

Responsibilities include coordinating cross‑departmental efforts to improve efficiency, reviewing costs, and supporting product development with meat knowledge. This role is on site in Illinois and requires prior meat processing leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Four years of leadership experience in meat processing.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead department managers in processing, prep, packaging and warehouse.
• Coordinate with departments to drive operational improvements and challenges.
• Direct performance reviews and provide direction on tasks and costs.
