Job summary

Milliken and Company’s Johnston Plant is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to support daily health needs of associates in a manufacturing setting. You will respond to injuries or illnesses, promote wellness, and partner with the plant team to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.

The role requires RN credentials and a nursing degree with a focus on health and safety. You will collaborate with HR, Safety, and medical providers, and may perform routine health screenings and injury follow-up.

Qualifications

• RN credentials with occupational health, manufacturing, emergency, public health, or ambulatory care experience is a plus.
• A nursing degree from an accredited program, along with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to use good judgment, maintain confidentiality, and communicate with care and professionalism.
• Team-focused approach and willingness to partner with Human Resources, Safety, plant leadership, medical providers, and associates.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and coordinate follow-up care when needed.
• Support routine health screenings and return-to-work needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized plant medical clinic.
• Partner with HR, Safety, medical providers, and plant leadership to support well-being.
• Assist with injury follow-up, wellness activities, safety meetings, and education.
• Maintain confidential clinic records and protect patient privacy.
