Vulcan Materials Company seeks a Plant Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations, ensuring efficient production and regulatory compliance. This role supports mine development with stripping and reclamation activities while maintaining safety and cost discipline.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in land stripping/reclamation and supervisory experience, with a high school diploma and preferably a BS/BA. Experience in the construction materials industry is preferred and the position requires

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BS/BA degree preferred.
• Experience managing land stripping & reclamation activities is expected.
• Construction materials industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hourly employees performing land stripping & reclamation tasks and supervise safety compliance.
• Plan and prioritize objectives to meet production and budget targets.
• Recruit hourly staff and manage scheduling to support daily, weekly and monthly operations.
• Provide coaching and disciplinary guidance as needed and ensure proper training.
• Collaborate with SHE department to maintain a safe work environment and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor plant equipment and ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
