The role supports the Plant Manager in mine development, stripping and reclamation, aiming for optimal utilization at the lowest operating cost.

The position emphasizes maintaining a safe workplace by enforcing safety policies, MSHA/OSHA and related regulations, and requires collaboration with plant management to meet safety and production

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BS/BA degree, Associates degree, or equivalent combination preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in land stripping & reclamation.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Construction materials industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises hourly employees conducting land stripping and reclamation.
• Plans and prioritizes objectives and maintains scheduling within budget.
• Participates in recruitment and hiring of hourly employees.
• Schedules department activities to meet production needs.
• Works with SHE department to promote safety and regulatory compliance.
