Job summary

Gilder Search Group is looking for a Plant Metallurgist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will work closely with analysis, process design, quality, and production. Your primary responsibility will be to provide metallurgical expertise and manage the Non-Conforming Product system.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering and 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a heavy industrial environment. Strong analytical skills and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years related metallurgical experience in aluminum, steel or similar industry.
• Experience working in a heavy industrialized/manufacturing environment required.

Responsibilities

• Support safety practices in the workplace.
• Optimize standard metallurgical practices for production planning.
• Manage Non-Conforming Product (NCP) system.
• Oversee Lab Anneal activities.
• Investigate customer complaints and provide metallurgical advice.
