Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated is seeking a Mechanic Manufacturing II in Charlotte for 1st shift with weekend coverage (Fri-Mon, 4am–2pm). The role maintains and repairs all facility assets, responds to breakdowns, and performs planned/unplanned maintenance to keep lines running efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of related work experience or 2 years of college/technical training.
• Experience with plant maintenance and high-speed production equipment preferred.
• PLC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and production machines; follows manuals and specs; troubleshoots malfunctions.
• Locates sources of problems by observing devices in operation and using measuring/testing tools.
• Monitors and maintains multiple equipment pieces; completes PMs and work orders; tracks parts usage and inventory.
• Controls downtime by informing production staff of preventive techniques; assists production to keep line running smoothly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
