Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Cincinnati is seeking a Mechanic Manufacturing I to repair and maintain all facility assets and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns.

The role includes performing planned and unplanned maintenance, ensuring a safe, clean work environment, and managing inventory of parts and supplies. The position requires the ability to read and follow SOPs, operate computer systems for maintenance tasks, and troubleshoot complex equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related work experience.
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors and production equipment.
• Locates sources of problems by observing devices and using measuring tools.
• Monitors multiple equipment pieces and completes PMs and work orders.
• Controls downtime by communicating maintenance needs to production staff and keeping lines running.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
