Job summary

Lanoha Nurseries, Inc is seeking a Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator to support procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations focused on plant material and related supplies. The role involves timely purchasing, accurate records, and coordinating with growers, vendors, and customers.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment within our Administrative team.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of purchasing, logistics, inventory management, or operations experience.
• Associate’s degree in Business Management or equivalent experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge in horticulture preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience with ERP, inventory management, or purchasing software preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with purchasing plant material, hard goods, and operational supplies.
• Coordinate with growers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
• Researching & purchasing of quality products within defined ranges; price and quality comparisons.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Communicate with vendors, drivers, and customers regarding delivery schedules and updates.
• Ensure accurate documentation for shipments and deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment.
• Provide first-level IT technical support for employees.
• Coordinate with third-party IT providers on system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Assist with software installations, updates, and user account management.
• Maintain technology inventory and documentation.
