Job summary

The Grantley Plant in York, PA is seeking a Plant Manufacturing Engineer to join our Navy Systems team. This role provides direct production support, rapidly addressing non-conformances to maintain smooth production flow and minimize downtime.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Welding, Quality and Operations leadership to implement corrective actions, reinforce lean processes, and ensure standard work is followed. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, production support, or process engineering preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to rapidly diagnose and resolve production issues at the source.

Responsibilities

• Review, investigate, disposition, and close non-conformances to maintain uninterrupted product flow.
• Gather facts, identify root cause, and implement immediate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production to develop sustainable corrective actions.
