Job summary

QE Solar is seeking a Plant Manager to supervise field services for solar and BESS systems, optimizing performance and ensuring compliance.

You will organize inspections, maintenance, and safety training, while coordinating with clients, leadership, and subcontractors. Candidates need 4+ years in power generation, 600V–1500V experience, NEC/IEEE/NFPA-70e know-how, and relevant certifications; a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High School or Technical School Degree
• 2+ years specialist solar/BESS with DAS experience
• 4 years as Plant Manager or Field Engineer; 600V-1500V; NEC/IEEE/NFPA-70e knowledge
• Inverter/BESS certifications a plus; CPR/First Aid; IT networking skills

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair solar/BESS system failures and perform preventative maintenance.
• Manage field teams and scheduling; assist in contractual compliance.
• Ensure a safe, event-free work environment following safety protocols including NFPA‑70e.
• Prepare service tickets and reports for site visits, emergency repairs, equipment modifications.
• Communicate with leadership, project leads, clients and subcontractors to ensure timely resolution of activities.
