Job summary

Sika is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for its Lancaster, TX facility. You will lead safe, efficient production operations and drive continuous improvement to enhance quality and productivity while protecting the environment.

The role requires a strong manufacturing leadership mindset, effective communication, and the ability to develop staff and manage budgets, capital planning, and safety programs in a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years Manufacturing Management experience.
• Experience managing production personnel.
• Strong leadership with fair policy application and a culture of respect.

Responsibilities

• Attain annual safety goals and enforce safety rules throughout the manufacturing organization.
• Achieve quality and delivery goals by understanding product quality demands and identifying non-value-added activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality functions including capital planning and preventive maintenance.
• Apply continuous improvement concepts including statistical process control and lean manufacturing.
• Develop and train staff to perform at peak levels and ensure uninterrupted skill supply to meet customer demand.
