Job summary

Best Block in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Plant Manager to lead daily operations of our concrete products facility. You will ensure safety programs are followed, supervise production scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance, and drive performance improvements while controlling costs.

You will mentor a production team, coordinate with quality control, implement process improvements, and maintain equipment readiness and plant cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete products manufacturing is a plus.
• Understanding of PLC equipment.
• Demonstrated history of working in a team-oriented environment with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company safety programs are followed and provide safety training.
• Develop and maintain high plant safety standards and compliance.
• Utilize facilities, equipment, and personnel to achieve production with safety/quality at lowest cost.
• Drive continuous improvement in product quality and meet specifications.
• Schedule production shifts and supervise staff to meet timelines.
