Job summary

MAKS Plastics, LLC is a rotational molding and thermoforming plastics supplier. The Plant Manager will oversee daily plant operations, drive safety culture, and lead continuous improvement across production, maintenance, quality, and staffing to meet customer commitments.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, process improvement, and optimizing asset utilization while balancing cost controls with safety and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Plant Manager or equivalent leadership role.
• Experience in rotational molding plastics environment preferred.
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar CI certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and manage daily plant operations to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure production output, product quality, and on-time shipping goals are achieved.
• Increase production capacity, flexibility, and asset utilization while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate production schedules and priorities to support customer demand and business objectives.
• Oversee manufacturing processes, equipment performance, maintenance needs, and operational resources.
• Partner with engineering and other departments to support new products, process improvements, and efficient production.
