Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations including production, maintenance, logistics and dispatch.
• Develop production plans based on demand forecasts and align with market needs.
• Ensure quality control systems meet specifications and industry standards.
• Monitor and reduce production costs, waste, and downtime using KPIs.

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Plant Manager to lead and oversee the full operations of a precast concrete factory specializing in interlock paving and kerbstone production. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production, high quality standards, cost control and continuous improvement across all plant functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management: Oversee daily plant operations including production, maintenance, logistics and dispatch. Ensure production targets are achieved efficiently and on schedule. Optimize plant capacity utilization and reduce downtime.
2. Production & Planning: Develop and implement production plans based on demand forecasts. Monitor productivity and implement improvements to enhance output. Coordinate with sales and supply chain teams to align production with market needs.
3. Quality Control: Ensure all products meet required specifications and industry standards. Implement and monitor quality control systems for concrete products. Reduce defects, rework and material waste.
4. Cost Control & Efficiency: Control production costs including raw materials, labor and utilities. Improve operational efficiency and reduce waste. Monitor KPIs such as cost per unit, productivity and yield.
5. Maintenance Management: Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance programs are implemented. Minimize machine breakdowns and ensure equipment reliability.

• Precast concrete
