Job summary

Pioneer Plastics, Inc. in Dixon, KY is seeking a Plant Manager to lead all plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing in a plastics injection molding environment.

You will oversee production planning, scheduling, KPI tracking, equipment maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and quality teams, while managing budgets and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Plant Management and Plant Operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Operations Management skills, including process improvement and resource optimization.
• Experience with Production Planning and scheduling to meet customer deadlines and quality standards.
• Hands-on knowledge of Manufacturing Operations, preferably in plastics injection molding or related industries.
• Proven leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and performance development.
• Working knowledge of safety standards, quality systems, and lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Comfort with manufacturing software, ERP systems, and basic office productivity tools.
• Pay based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing.
• Oversee daily production activities, scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Develop and lead plant teams, set performance goals, and promote safety and accountability.
• Monitor KPIs, manage equipment maintenance and uptime.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality teams and ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage budgets and implement operational best practices.
• Support customer project requirements and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
