Plant Manager – Plastic Injection Molding

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Plant Manager with a strong background in plastic injection molding. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on leader to join a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing plant operations, leading teams, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and safety.
• Lead and develop cross‑functional teams to meet production goals and KPIs.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.
• Maintain accurate records of operational performance and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Plant Manager or similar leadership role within a plastic injection molding environment.
• P&L experience owning Budget for individual plants and/or multiple plants in a region.
• Strong technical knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, and equipment.
• Proven ability to lead teams and improve operational performance.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Employment Type: Full‑time

Salary: Starting at $160,000 based on experience
