AJ Augur Group, LLC - Plastics Search & Recruitment Experts is seeking a Plant Manager for a privately held injection molding manufacturer in Northeast Ohio. The role oversees two facilities, with a hands-on leadership style, enabling strong accountability and growth of the operations.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in plastic injection molding, capable of developing staff on the production floor and driving improved efficiency and reliability across the plants.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in plastic injection molding is required.
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, equipment and plant-floor operations.
• Experience leading people in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience as a Plant Manager is welcome, but not required.
• Candidates currently working as a Molding Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager or similar leadership role are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and work effectively with production, processing, tooling and maintenance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold people accountable while developing the team.
• Someone who is comfortable being visible and involved on the plant floor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across two injection molding facilities.

• Improve production efficiency, throughput and overall plant performance.
• Identify operational problems and make sure they actually get corrected.
• Help recruit, train and develop strong injection molding processors and production employees.
• Work closely with maintenance to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Improve organization, housekeeping and accountability throughout the operation.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Develop employees and build a stronger leadership structure within the plants.
• Gradually assume full responsibility for the day-to-day operation.

Location: Approximately 30 minutes south of Canton, OH.

We are conducting a search for a Plant Manager for a privately held injection molding manufacturer in Northeast Ohio.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Plant Manager, but you do not need to currently hold the Plant Manager title to be considered.

Our client is very open to a strong Molding Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager or similar injection molding leader who has the experience and ability to take the next step into full plant leadership.

The company operates two nearby injection molding facilities with approximately 70 employees and 15 injection molding machines. The operation manufactures injection molded containers.

This is a hands-on leadership position. The company needs someone who understands injection molding, is comfortable spending time on the production floor and can bring consistency, accountability and organization to the operation.

What You'll Be Responsible For
