Job summary

Jobot seeks a Permanent Plant Manager in Ruston, LA to lead all plant operations in the Paper/Fabric Technology sector. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year, with company-paid health plan and generous PTO.

You will oversee daily production, establish KPIs, drive Six Sigma continuous improvement, manage the budget, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate across teams to translate product needs into efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring that production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
• Set the strategy for continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodology and lead the team in implementing these initiatives.
• Manage the plant's budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a strong culture of quality control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate these into efficient production processes.
• Develop and nurture a culture of excellence and accountability within the team, providing leadership and direction to drive performance and growth.
